Round Two with CreateSpace

Yesterday my second iteration of PENELOPE AND THE BIRTHDAY CURSE arrived.  I was much happier with tweaks I had done. I am probably just being picky, but I wanted the book as professional as possible.  One thing that has impressed me, whether I give credit to CreateSpace or UPS, is the speed with which I received my proof copy.  I chose standard shipping which implied up to 10 days and actually got it in 2 business days. For anyone wanting to see it on the estore at CreateSpace, here is a link.

Other accomplishments: the book cover image on Barnes and Noble is no longer "Image not available" but actually shows the cover.  I had sent a note to Mark Coker atSmashwords on Monday and poof! there itwas on Tuesday.  Here is link to that.

All and all things are taking off.

  2. I did the formatting in Word 2010 using CreateSpace template. It can be a daunting task and require good understanding how to use "styles", secton breaks and formatting. I think now I can do it in one shot.
